(Delorean Mailing List) and DMC NEWS This should be your first
stop if your serious about learning anything about Deloreans. It's
a very active mailing list with over 1000 subscribers consisting of both
owners and non-owners. Topics range from buying tips to troubleshooting
to general ramblings about the car. The most knowledgable (DeLorean)
people in the world are on this list.

At
8am on October 3, 1999, a very excited 29 year old Pittsburgh man rocketed
a 28' U-Haul van to Youngwood, PA to pick up the shattered remains of a
1981 DeLorean. The car had been fully disassembled in 1989 or so by the
previous owner, and had sat neglected ever since.This is the story of that
car's restoration. We call it...(Project Vixen). A very detailed journal
of the of the resurrection of what is probably one of the biggest Delorean
"basket cases" ever. Complete with expenses and even a Live
WEBCAM! |

DeLorean
Mid-Atlantic Club was founded in 1992 and is the largest and oldest Delorean
owner and enthusiast based club on the Mid-Atlantic east coast area. They
have active members from CT, NY, NJ, PA, MD, DC, VA and other surrounding
areas (including several members worldwide) and host four events per year
that generate large member in-person participation. If
you're in the Mid-Atlantic area and interested in meeting and hanging out
