OK. Let's start on the console. The idea is that an aluminum frame would bolt down to the same studs as the original console did. Then side panels would bolt on, and finally a top that would have the shifter surround, the window swithches and an armrest with storage compartment beneath. In the storage compartment, I'd also integrate a 3-port USB hub for periferals to the car computer.
